Summer excursions in Kransoyarsk for 2 days

PROGRAM OF VISITING 2 DAYS: (VARIANT А)

Day 1

A city tour around Krasnoyarsk with visiting of all basic sights. On the route there is Mira Avenue, Drama Theatre, Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Then the group moves to the memorial to A.A. Dubensky where you can enjoy magnificent view, Troitskoe cemetery with the old church, memorial complex “Pobeda” and Karaulnaya Mountain where Paraskeva Pjatnitsy's chapel (1855) is located.

Lunch in the restaurant. Continuation of the excursion program, visiting Blagovetsenskiy and Pokrovsky Cathedrals – the oldest stone building of Krasnoyarsk, erected in 1785. It is a great example of Siberian baroque with the traditional one-floor type of church keeping all the attributes round the centre.

Then the group will visit Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum where you can find lots of ancient exhibits and even real satellite constructed on the local laboratory which provide 70% of national satellite market. Situated in the centre of the city, this Museum is 112 years old and is considered to be the best Russian Regional Museum. Visiting of souvenir shops.

Tourists will visit Surikov’s house-museum – wooden house of the beginning of the century, keeping all the features of that period (furniture, design, utensils, service buildings). At the end of 19^th century a young boy Vasia Surikov left this house to win world-wide glory of one of the most prolific painter of that period.

Returning to the hotel, dinner by yourselves, free time.

Day 2

The group moves to the Quay - a favourite place of appointments, walking and relaxing of Krasnoyarsk people. Further tourists are going on a rocket-ship along Yenisey to the city of Divnogorsk, have lunch and enjoy the majestic river, on the banks of which ancient Siberian villages and unique natural monuments are located. According to the legends of primordial inhabitants of the Yenisey region, the main river of Siberia – Yenisey - is a reflection of the Milky Way to the ground. Being one of the longest rivers not only in Russia but in the world (4092 km. length), it is longer than a distance from London to Moscow.

Our boat-trip ends in Divnogorsk where you’ll enjoy one more excursion. The tourist-bus goes along the forest road to the Krasnoyarsk Hydro Power station (outside sightseeing), the second one in Russia. Visiting of the observation point called “Tsar Ryba” and the next point of the program is visit to the natural reserve “Stolby” (7 km by bus up to the point).

Short stroll to the stolbist’s log and you are in the heart of the reserve. Open-air lunch is possible, excursion around the central group of rocks (about 2-3 km). According to the results of the TV survey managed in 1980^th, the reserve was considered to be “the 8^th Wonders of the World”, more exciting than such natural and architectural masterpieces as Kizhi, Baikal Lake, “Golden Ring” and Suzdal’s palace. It was founded in 1925 and now it is the main sight of Krasnoyarsk – the great natural stone work. As it is said in the traveler-book of “Le Petit Fute”, “Phonteblo is like a kindergarten in comparison with Stolby”.

Returning to the city, dinner by yourself.

PROGRAM OF VISITING 2 DAYS: (VARIANT B)

Day 1

Then we’ll visit Karaulnaya Mountain where Paraskeva Pjatnitsy's chapel (1855) is located. This chapel has been represented in the10-ruble note since 1995. Lunch in the restaurant. Continuation of the excursion program, visiting Regional Museum. Visiting of souvenir shop.

Evening program may continue with the performance of the “National Ensemble of Folk Songs”. All the artists of the troupe are universal professionals equally talented in singing songs of different genres (from folklore to modern hits), playing all musical instruments (bayan, accordion, balalaika, contrabass, guitar, violin, drums, synthesizer, pipes, spoons etc.), performing choreographic acts of different levels (mixing them in one or performing separately). All the performances are impressing and every act becomes the best one.

Free time, dinner by yourselves.

Day 2

After breakfast, the group is going on a rocket-ship along Yenisey to the city Divnogorsk and enjoys the majestic river, on the banks of which ancient Siberian villages and unique natural monuments are located.

Our boat-trip ends in Divnogorsk which was just the camp of the builders of the Hydro Power station in 1957. It took its name after the mountains situated around the city. The tourist-bus goes along the forest road to the Krasnoyarsk Hydro Power station built in 1972. The first stone with the sign “Calm Yenisey!” was erected by the famous cosmonaut Y. Gagarin. Lunch in the restaurant.

Then visit to the village Ovsianka settled in 1671. Here you’ll find the library and the church of St.Inokenty Irkutsky built by the famous Siberian writer – V.P. Astafiev. Visiting of the observation point called “Tsar Ryba” and you return to the hotel. Spare time, dinner by yourself.

** By request cause Usadba museum can only let in 14 people to one excursion. In case there are more tourists, the group is divided to 2 groups and we must co-ordinate it with the museum.

Day 1

Day 2

A city tour around Krasnoyarsk with visiting of all basic sights. The modern architectural ensemble in the area of the Mira square is represented by 2 big public buildings: a cultural-historical museum complex and a building of the Krasnoyarsk regional philharmonic society with the Big Concert Hall. Then we’ll visit Karaulnaya Mountain where Paraskeva Pjatnitsy's chapel (1855) is located. This chapel has been represented in the10-ruble note since 1995.

Three hours of sightseeing excursion

Day 1

Then we’ll visit Karaulnaya Mountain where Paraskeva Pjatnitsy's chapel (1855) is located. This chapel has been represented in the10-ruble note since 1995.

Visiting of “Funpark Bobroviy Log”, going up on the ropeway to the observation place, where all the city is on your palm and you can also observe Stolby reserve. A short walk in the forest.
