According to the Press Service of Athletic Federation in Krasnoyarsk region, the torch is planned to be held in our region in June, 2012. The runners will take the torch at the border of the region, carry it together with the main team through the whole territory of Krasnoyarsk region and pass it over.
The relay will take place in 50 federal subjects of Russia, the length of the route will be over 19 000 km. The formal start is in April at the headquarters building of UNO in New-York; the representatives of UNO, politics and runners from all over the world will be present at the ceremony.
The global relay unites 140 countries and promotes a healthy way of style, development of mass sport and establishes cultural and friendly connections between people from different countries and regions. The main team of World Harmony Run consists of volunteers, professional sportsmen and amateurs, who, in their free time and by their means, will run along the roads of various countries of the world.
