New Tourist Water Routes to Appear in Siberia

Siberia will present new tourist water routes in 2012, including three destinations on Lake Baikal and on the Angara. Thus, specifically for the project, a river tram “Falcon” will be upgraded in order to hold unique historical tours in summer.

Besides, the launching of a water tour to the museum “Taltsy” in Irkutsk region is being discussed. Mini-cruise will allow tourists not only to visit museum, but to enjoy wonderful constructions and to make a trip to Irkutsk reservoir.

Another popular holiday destination, which could become more accessible - “Golden Sands” at the Bratsk reservoir. It is planned to organize a new stopping point in the village Osa (near “Golden Sands”) on the route “Irkutsk-Bratsk”.

The traditional routes are still available in 2012 – a water tour along the Krugobaikal Railroad and a trip to Chivyrkuisky Bay.
