The best rescuers of MES will be chosen in Ergaki

The first competitions of the Open International Championship for Siberia Cup in rescuing combined events have started. This year the competitions take place in the Western Sayn Mountains near the nature park Ergaki.

14 teams of rescue-search brigades and 5 divers’ teams of MES (Ministry of Emergency Situations) of Russia will compete near the nature Park Ergaki (Ermakovsky District, Krasnoyarsk Region). Among those who wish to participate in the event there are rescuing crews from Poland and Byelorussia.

The winners are chosen after running through distances ‘rescue-search works in wild nature (in mountains, caves, in a forest, in avalanche zone)’, 'rescue-search works in water area’, 'rescue-search works in man-made emergency situations’.
