‘Transaero’ airlines is to carry out flights from the three Moscow airports

‘Transaero’ airlines, the second largest airline company of Russia, now carries out flights from Moscow airports ‘Domodedovo’ and ‘Sheremetyevo’. In May, 2012, it is to start carrying out flights from ‘Vnukovo’ as well.

‘Now ‘Transaero’ is going to be the only airline company, among the five largest Russian ones, which will carry out flights from the three main airports of Moscow airport hub’, stated Olga Pleshakova, the general manager of ‘Transaero’. Also she mentioned that they are not going to redistribute the existing passenger traffic flow from ‘Domodedovo’ or ‘Sheremetyevo’; they plan to receive additional volume in ‘Vnukovo’.

According to Mrs. Pleshakova, ‘Domodedovo’ and ‘Sheremetyevo’ have reached their power limit, and this influences the quality of travel service. At the same time, the reconstructed airport ‘Vnukovo’ is able to offer the necessary service. It is the closest to Moscow airport, the road to it is less loaded.

One more advantage of this airport is that it has different terminals in serving charter and regular flights.
