Ergaki is one of the most picturesque mountainous taiga regions inSiberia. In Ancient Turk language this word means "fingers". Actually many of the rocks remind the shape of vertically spread apart fingers. It is truly a fantastic unique spot inSayan mountains. None of its valleys looks alike, numerous lakes - each beautiful in its own way, each mountain top has its unique image. A picnic on the lake.
- A mountain Brothers (or Parabola) consists of two peaks of different size and height, that are connected by a kind of bridge. But that bridge has gradual right forms like a real parabola. The rocks surface is smooth and polished, that also led some researchers thinking about the artificial processing (if not the origin) of this remarkable rock. From the “younger brother”, in a beautiful valley there is home amazing lake in the shape of almost regular rectangle with rounded edges. It is called theLakeofMountain Spirits. According to an ancient legend, the spirits enchanted two brothers, having left them there to protect the fabulous treasures. Near the lake there is another miracle of nature - high waterfall about20 meters.

It is known that up to 1970s "Hanging Stone" was also "a swinging stone", which one could let to sway only with an effort of a hand. Later, during repeating attempts to push the stone down, gaps in the joint points with the rock were filled with small rubbles and the stone ceased to sway. To the "Hanging Stone" a few pathes lead, and anyone who came to Ergaki feels it their duty to see this wonderful, amazing, already famous natural monument with their own eyes. At the bottom of the abyss, into which the "Hanging Stone" always seeks to fall down, there is the most beautifullakeRaduzhnoye- one of the gems of Ergaki.
- The peak Ptitsa, the extreme top of one of the central ranges, perhaps one of the most spectacular peaks. Next to Ptitsa, situating in the same range there is the peak Zvezdniy, which height is2,265 meters. Its narrow sharp crest resembles a stem of a huge sea liner, cutting through boundless ocean surface of the taiga.
- Another famous rock of Ergaki is the Dragon’s Tooth. It really looks like a fang sticking out from the jaws of a giant beast of prey. One side of the pointed top is a "negative" wall of about1000 metersheight - a dangerous challenge for climbers who come here to try a fall with the local rocks.
