Altai center of Alexander Bardin

On the territory of the museum there are exhibits showing the history, culture, traditions, customs and features of the modern life of the inhabitants of the Altai mountains. An original house museum is represented by four yurts, made in different styles. The first yurt is filled with artifacts, after examining which, an idea about the life of the Altai people 100-200 years ago will appear. The yurt is made in the form of a traditional Altai dwelling, it was built according to the drawings of the artist Grigory Choros-Gurkin. The second yurt is dedicated to the zaisanas - the leaders of the clans, who voluntarily joined Russia. In the second yurt, the works of Choros-Gurkin is collected, which supported the leaders during the accession of the Soviet power. The third yurt is a museum of four religions - Orthodoxy, Buddhism, Islam and burkhanism. In the fourth yurt there are objects of daily life of the Altai people. In the museum complex you can see the coat of arms and flag of the family Kara-Mayman, whose head is Alexander Bardin.
