The right  feeder of Yenisei River, Mana River, is single out for its peculiar natural characteristics – large areas of karstic rocks and active underground flow, which forms lots of springs with crystal clear mineral water.

Mana River is flowing from the picturesque lake (Sorog) at the mountain ridge Manskoe Belogorye in the Eastern Sayan spurs. Mana is flowing into Yenisei in 30 km above Krasnoyarsk and 7 km lower Divnogorsk, concerning of these legendary cities important events. The river meets a lot of rapids, gates, bends on the way which are liked by water sportsmen and amateurs of the mountain taiga landscapes.

Mana rafting is one of the most popular kinds of the rest in Krasnoyarsk. Every year from June to August hundreds of citizens and Krasnoyarsk visitors are direct at a taiga river looking for adventures. Simple inflatable rubber boats and massive cruising two-storeyed rafts are used in the rafting.

The traditional Mana River route is started in the Beret settlement (30 km from Krasnoyarsk) and finished in the Mansky or Ust-Mana settlements, which are connected with Krasnoyarsk with the highway. Mana is a rocky river from the sources to the mouth, which passes Urmanskaya and Perekop gates of the amazing beauty, the most difficult and dangerous Bolshoy Mansky rapid, where every year the water slalom Championship is held. In this area there are four rocky ridges with forbidding picturesque rocks, Manskye Stolby, which are looks like huge fantastic animals. The right bank of Mana borders with the state nature reserve «Stolby», the region of fanciful rocks.

On the Mana River the Bard-rafting is held regularly, at this time the River dazzles with flags, slogans and over the river smooth surface you can hear the guitar sounds.  There is the Soviet festival tradition of the most eccentric boat, among which there was a two-storeyed raft with a trailer, a car, a huge samovar or even a piano.

In 1919 there were bloody and decisive partisan fights of Kravchenko`s forces against Kolchak`s forces and Czechoslovak Legion.

In the middle course of Mana, from the Krol River mouth to the passing track Lukashevich, about 50 km of the famous railway «way of courage» were built. In 1942 the researches work of the railway Abakan-Tayshet by A.Koshurnikova, K. Stofato, A. Zhuravleva was equated with the front feat. The route three times passes from the coast to coast of  Mana River, stretched highly over the river ferroconcrete arches of bridges: higher than the mouth of the Krol river, in the area of passing tracks of Habaydak and Khoy.

Lower the Lukashevich passing track on the right coast you can see the black loop hole of the Mansky tunnel. It is the longest tunnel of the railway Abakan-Tayshet.

On the Mana coast there are camps «Mansky reach», «Mana», «Breeze», which can offer summer and winter rest in the wonderful lands of Siberian taiga.
