New music season has already successfully started in Krasnoyarsk with 10^th International Festival “Siberia-Europe”. All the tickets were sold out, music hall were overcrowded. Also a festival “Yeniseisky jazz” was held in Krasnoyarsk last week.

Soon, Dmitri Hvorostovsky will perform in Krasnoyarsk, then there will be a Second Siberian Festival of contemporary music, performances of Italian opera, the premiere of “Mozart and Salieri” and “The Hussar Ballad” ballets. Also there will take place the premiere of “Nameless Star” musical and “Marlen. My 20^th century” performance.  Apart from these important cultural events, such traditional festival as “Opera theatre star parade” and “Spring choral quires” will also take place in Krasnoyarsk.

The season will end up with the 3^rd International festival of Pacific Rim countries, in which bands from 24 countries will take part.

“There is no need to go to Moscow to see the high quality of music performances. Krasnoyarsk krai takes rightful place in musical space of Russia” said Elena Pazdnikova, first deputy minister of cultural affairs.
