Among the advanced topics on the interaction between Germany and the Krasnoyarsk region there was picked out a tourist destination, particularly the attraction of German tourists to the region.

Prime Minister of  Krasnoyarsk region, Edkham Akbulatov and General Consul of Germany in Novosibirsk, Mrs. Gudrun Shtaynakker discussed the projects that are implemented in the region with the participation of German investments, technologies and equipment. Germany is an important strategic partner of the Krasnoyarsk region and also takes place among the ten major trade partners of the region.

At the VIII Krasnoyarsk economic forum the participants were greatly interested in investment project of " Mekran" company, the equipment for which will be supplied by German "HOMAG GRUPPE", as well as a master plan of the modernization of the airport “Emelyanovo” infrastructure,  prepared by "Hochtief".

Prime Minister noted the cooperation with airline “Lufthansa Cargo”, collaboration with German experts in the field of medicine.

Mrs. Shtaynakker specially noted an active work of Krasnoyarsk region universities with German institutions in the field of student and faculty exchange.
