Altai region is known as the Russian health place. This was announced by the governor of the region on a presentation of new projects which was held on the 8^th of June in Moscow. He connects the further development of tourist infrastructure with the building a recreational zone "Biryuzovaya Katun" and a gambling zone "Sibirskaya moneta" on the territory of the region. The realization of these two projects can increase tourist flow by three times by the year of 2025. the vice-governor of the region also mentioned that Altai region will be able to take approximately 3 million tourists, what makes 6-8% of the whole Russian inner tourist flow.
