The administration of Evenkiya has affirmed a long-term cultural policy for 2012-2020 ‘Evenkiya in the world of information technologies’. The main tasks are to preserve the culture of indigenous people of Evenkiya, make it available for international society and create conditions for tourist attractiveness of the territory. 

For these purposes, there will be realized several projects. It is planned to create a virtual variant of Evenkiya regional museum – it will be possible to have an excursion from any place of the world with the help of the Internet.

Moreover, there will appear Internet files of Evenkiya culture: on the site you can find information about languages of indigenous people of Evenkiya, rituals, songs, fairy tales and poems of local poets.

The ‘Centre of culture and recreation services development’ plans to organize a deer quest. The participants will experience an amazing trip from the regional centre, Tura village, along Nizhnyaya Tunguska river to Yukta village on deer. The length of the route is over 300 km in one direction.

You can also experience making documentary film- and photo-projects about the life of Evenks and ethnic groups of far north. To promote the culture of northern people, there will be produced souvenirs and brochures dedicated to composers, narrators and cultural heritage of Evenkiya.
