On September,24 2010 in General assemblies of United Nations in New-York there was signed an Agreement about abolition of visa regime for the Russian tourists who are going to Chile and also for the Chilean tourists enterring Russian Federation. Due to this agreement citizens of the both countries with their actual passports, except diplomatic and official ones,  have a right on crossing the border - may enter, exit, follow transit and be on the territory of the foreign state without visa till 90 days during every period in 180 days, from the beggining of the date of their first entrance. But in case if the citizens of one state are going to be or to live on the territory of another country more than 90 days, also to carry out labour or commercial activity on its territory are obliged to get viza in Diplomatic representative office or Consular establishment of that state.
At present time the citizens of Russia may freely visit such Latin American countries as Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, The Dominican republic, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Colombia and Venezuela.
