Frontier post Khandagaity- Borshoo soon will become not bilateral but multilateral. The reconstruction of the Russia-Mongolia frontier post will provide the opportunity to pass through the control people and cars twofold. Consul general of Mongolia in Kyzyl Bazarsad informed about the decision to open the frontier post 3-4 times a month for representatives of the third countries until the end of reconstruction, which is usually drags on several years. Now the decision should be approved by Russia.

It would be recalled that the decision about that frontier post was made in 2007, but the realization of the plan took longer than it was planned. So Sholban Khara-ool paid special attention to the problem during the meeting with the head of Rusfrontier Dmitry Bezdelov in 2009.

Today numerous foreign tourists can’t cross the state boarder in Tuva and should cross it Buryat (Khahta) or Altai Republic (Tashtana). At the same time, the tourists get visas in Tuva, where since 2001 General Council of Mongolia is open.

Consul general Bazarsad added that there is no any delay in issuing visas in Tuva and more than 20 % of people going to Mongolia from Tuva are from Krasnoyarsk Region.
