The first united congress of the winter sports took place on the 15 – 17^th June in the downhill skiing complex Igora. This complex has become the first part of an International forum of winter sports as a part of the business program “Russia is a sporting state”. The year 2011 is the first year when not only skiing resorts are taking part in the congress but also biathlon and skiing stadiums, Ice Sports palaces, ski jumping.

Fun park “Bobrivy Log” is a winner in the nomination “The sportiest Tourist Destionation” by a decision of Downhill Skiing Industry Union. Sports competitions of all levels and types were held in the fun park during the 2010 – 2011 winter season.

“This victory is a very high appreciation of our activity by a professional society. Nowadays “Bobrovy Log” is one of a very small amount of downhill skiing resorts that is able to take the responsibility to organize sports competitions of a very high level and preparation of Olymlic champions.” Said the Director of Fun Park Elena Gavrilova.
