The project of the monument to Russian teachers-devotees, coming there to help Tuva in the beginning of XX century, will be chosen for building.

The idea of the raising of the monument supported the head of Tuva, which was shared with teachers of the republic.

Due to teachers-devotees in Tuva, that time a separate state, local intelligentsia was formed, a system of education was created, and finally they contributed to appearing of native language in the Republic, using Cyrillic alphabet.

The initiative of the Prime Minister of Tuva was supported not only by ordinary teachers, but also by some national schools of Tuva, where children are taught only in Tuvinian. According to their opinion, this monument is a tribute to Russian teachers, who came their not by somebody’s ask, but by their own call of the heart. Besides historical mission, the idea of monument contains also an acute for today’s Russia appeal to tolerance, unacceptance of xenophobia and unity of the country.
