More than 230 musical bands from 20 countries participate in this Festival. By invitation of Organizing Committee the State musical and dance ensemble “Sayany” (Tuva) will also be involved in the festival program. In the beginning of the festival, all the music bands will parade along the streets of the city. They have to give a 2 minute performance each time when the demonstration stops.

In the following days there will be a contest of folk dance, which will include 3 performances of each band – two of them will be 15 minutes long and one – 5 minutes long.

“Sayany” will be involved in two nominations – folk dance and street parade. Results of the festival will be announced on October 3.

“Sayany” was founded in 1969 based on amateur national music ensemble “Chechek” affiliated with Kyzyl Art College. The ensemble includes three bands – dance crew, orchestra of national musical instruments and several leading singers, who also can perform all styles of throat singing. “Sayany” is an award winner of multiple All-Soviet Union, All-Russian and international contests. They have traveled through the whole world with their concert program.
