A touristic site will be established here with the investment of 250mln rubles. 

Touristic complex ‘Visiting Semeiskie’ is being built within the project ‘The big Baikal trail’ at the territory of natural monument ‘Sleeping lion’. The head of Buryat Republic Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn has already inspected the objects of ‘Old believers’ church – the museum of old believers’ culture’ nature trail.

Old believers’ village Tarbagatay is very popular among tourists because it is located on the ‘Moscow-Vladivostok’ segment of Trans-Siberian Railway. The distinctive character of this village attracts tourists. Intellectual culture of Semeiskie was declared by UNESCO as a ‘Masterpiece of oral and unessential heritage of mankind’ in 2001 in Paris.
