On the 7^th of June there will be a contest among guides, water tourism instructors and water traveling lovers in Artybash village named "The cup of Biy - 2009". Annual competitions are held to arouse interest in water tourism, rafting and slalom among the youth of Altai region and Altai republic and also to attract guides and instructors of the tourist centre situated near Teletskoe lake and Biy river. This year is the 5^th time of the competition. The participants are to cover the distance of 30 kilometers from Yurtok river mouth to Kebezen village.

The age limit of the competition is 16 years. The participants can sail on any water vehicle which was approved by the technical commission of the jury.

The organizers will check all difficult parts of the route in advance, will make the scheme of the route, provide dangerous places with rescuers etc.
