"Russian Knights" - one of the best aerobatic teams in the world celebrated their 20-year anniversary with the colorful air show in the sky near Moscow over the territory of the Center display of aeronautical engineering at Kubinka. Also? Their colleagues took part in the festival - the pilots of the squadron "Swifts".
At the day of the anniversary celebration in the airbase "Kubinka" were held commemorative events, which in addition to the air show, included the ground display of the aircraft and honoring veterans.
Professionals of the "Russian Knights" are unique in the world in performing the figures of high aerobatics in the group ranks on the heavy Su-27 fighters. All other aerobatic teams, including the famous “Patrouille de France”, do such maneuvers either in training or sport aircraft, or on the fighters of less mass.
