The holiday is conducted on the territory of  Tura at the 8^th of June.

During the New Year celebration guests may take part in different events:

 -   Ceremonies:  Worship spirits (fire, water, taiga, hunting, etc.)  and clarifications of the population (guests);

- Ceremonial opening of the Evenkia holiday;

- Concert of folklore and ethnographic ensembles (including family, children's) and some other performers;

- National games and competitions;

- Days (decades) of national culture, creative meetings;

- Mobile exhibitions of products of national masters of arts and crafts, national suits, musical instruments and household items;

- Competitions: "The best tschum’s hostess ", "The best national suit", "Beauty of Evenkia", etc.
