There are several events of an interregional project "The clean banks of Ob river and its tributaries" held during this week in Altai republic. On the 27 of May the deputy director of Altai nature reserve Svetlana Shigreva announced that the action was supported by Turochaksky, Chemalsky, Maiminsky districts and by Gorno-Altaisk city.

The banks of a famous Katun river were cleaned in Chemalsky district. A part of Teletskoe lake was cleaned in Turochaksky district, and a spring that flows into Maima river was also cleaned in Gorno-Altaisk.
