The master of Altai traditional deep-throat singing Nogon Shumarov is again in Moscow with a single concert.

Nogon Shumarov is a representative of an ancient culture “kaichi”, who knows much about heroic epos.

In past times narrators played an important role for Altai, being a mediator between the society and ancient heroes of bylinas. During the performance of epos, which is accompanied by music of traditional instrument, the narrator and listeners could fall into a trance. During the process the listeners communicated with their heroic ancestors and asked them for help.

Nogon Shumarov is rather active in preserving and revival of Altai national culture. He is an organizator and a member of honorary jury in many festivals of traditional music in Siberia. He managed to make a deep-throat singing very popular with people. That fact is proved by a great number of concerts around the world.

It’s necessary to say that Nogon Shumarov created a unique methodology, which is used for teaching actors throat singing in theatres of the country.

The methodology allows learners to comprehend the ABC of the art even during the first lesson.

His concert and at the same time master class in Moscow is a wonderful possibility to listen to archaic Altai epos and author’s pieces of art performed in traditional style.
