The festival "Magic Ice of Siberia" is taking place in Krasnoyarsk

“Magic ice of Siberia”, VII International competition-festival of snow-ice sculptures

January 13 - January 19, 2020
The most active participants in the competition are teams from Krasnoyarsk. Masters from China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, from the cities of the Urals, Yakutia, Udmurtia and Tuva, as well as Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk will come to the competition.
Thousands of Krasnoyarsk residents and guests of the city come to the embankment of the Yenisei River to see the sculptures, communicate with the masters and join the snow-ice art, see and enjoy the game of shades of ice shimmering under the rays of the sun.
Traditionally, the festival is held as part of the Winter Surikov Art Festival.
The festival-competition is held in two categories: “Snow” and “Ice”.
Venue: left-bank embankment of the Yenisei, Krasnoyarsk
Free entrance!
Traditionally, the sculptures will remain on the promenade even after the end of the festival, while the weather allows.
