The start of the route "The Golden ring of Altai" which covers the territory of Russia, Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan caused great intereset among tourists - says the press centre of Altai Republic government. According to the words of the tourism and business minister Evgeny Larin the route started in 2007. Today the Russian Federation (Altai region and Altai republic) and China are ready to take tourists. Kazakhstan is half ready. Mongolia hasn't joined the project yet. Evgeny Larin believes that the route must be included in the list of the main tourist routes.
