"The administrative center of Krasnoyarsk region, the capitals of Tuva and Khakassia will take part in torch relay of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games", - told the president of the organizing committee of the Sochi 2014 Dmitry Chernyshenko. Torch with the Olympic and Paralympic flame for the first time in Russian history will be carried through the capital cities and administrative centers of all regions and some other towns (a total of more than 180). The action will last 120 days.

Beginning of trip is scheduled for October 2013, ending - February 7, 2014, the opening day of the Games in Sochi. This will not only the longest but also the most ambitious winter relay in Olympic history: 9000 kilometers from west to east, 5000 - from north to south, nine time zones, 14,000 torch bearers, more than 30,000 volunteers.
