On January,27 in the main museum of Tuva republic the electronic information terminals were turned on, through which visitors will be able to make virtual tours. They help everyone quickly to find on the monitor  interesting exhibit - not only exhibited on the stands, but also kept in the museum's storerooms. Each of the three information screens provides useful information for the tourists during excursions, sightseeing Tuva, adress and contacts of the the major cultural and historical sites and other background information. Now the terminals are run in test mode, databases are not complete, but eventually, when the museum digitize all of its archives and collections, the computer memory of the machines will contain an exhaustive material. In 2011 year the museum is going to continue implementing its activities in IT-technologies, actively promoting itself in the marketplace of museum services not only in Russia but also abroad. Especially because the museum has something to offer to the world - only on a collection of Scythian gold from the famous royal burial mounds of the valley Tuva there are received dozens of applications from leading museums of foreign states. This year, for example, it will be exhibited at the National Museum of Hungary.
