During 2010, Russia signed several agreements on facilitation of mutual visits. About this at a press briefing on Dec. 17, said Russian Deputy Spokesman Alexei Sazonov, reports news agency Regnum. According to his words, this year some new agreements on visa-free regimes were signed. Citizens of South Ossetia, Mozambique, Croatia, Turkey, Colombia, United Arab Emirates, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, South Africa can visit Russia without any visa, as well as residents of border areas of Norway.

"Besides, we are developing more than ten draft agreements on visa-free travel, including Bangladesh, Gabon, Guatemala, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mongolia, Oman, Peru, Panama, Singapore, Tunisia, Uruguay, as well as visa simplification - with India, Indonesia, Japan.
