A comfortable hotel on water will be open on the shore of Baikal lake in the middle of June. It is made from a barge which stopped in Chivyrkuysky bay (Buryatiya republic), on the territory of Zabaikalsky national park. The tour center "Ecotour" will be open on the 15^th of June after the reconstruction. The tour operator "Baikal adventures" plans to create a place of modern civilization, which allows to have comfortable rest with a minimal effect on the environment. The center is equipped with WiFi zone, a small cinema and a bar. The tourist center in Chivyrkuysky bay appeared in 1990ies. It is a unique experience of organized rest in a nature reserve.

"Baikal adventures" company began to manage "Ecotour" in the beginning of 2009. All the activity will be held on the barge, where an autonomous canalization system "TOPAS" will be installed. It is able to clean the water from any organic waste, after that the water is used for technical purposes. The dry remnants are turned into briquettes and then taken out with other domestic waste. This will let tourists use the toilet and take a hot shower.
