Altai ail

The house-museum Altai ail is a museum that is completely dedicated to the peasants, German settlers and the indigenous people of the Altai. It located in the Altai region, the village Novotyryshkino.
Ail is the national Altai dwelling, the museum tells about the traditions of the indigenous Altai population. It's a small building, which has an octagonal shape, a dirt floor and a domed ceiling. There was no heating in an ail, only open fire inside and a hole in the ceiling.
Visitors of wooden house will be familiar with the life and culture of the Altai people, the purpose of presented household items.

Local City Museum of Stepan Gulyaev

A local museum is named after the famous scientist of Altai Stepan Gulyaev. Belokurikha History Museum contains about 8,000 artifacts that tell you about the history of the resort Belokurikha from the 19th century to the present day. The museum is located in an old building of local clinic (white-blue one-story building with columns).
The main exhibition is devoted to the thermal waters of Belokurikha. Ethnographic material is also presented, there is an exposition of the scientific work at the resort, of the presence Artek pioneer camp in Belokurikha, of the activities of the minister Slavsky.
Vacationers find here answers to questions about the features of healing water, the mechanism of its effects on the human body. The children will hear the legends and tales of the local places, collected by the museum staff.
The museum also conducts tours of the resort Belokurikha.
