Cableway

Many travelers, tourists, nature lovers are interested in Belokurikha. Sights of the Altai city include a cableway; the top point is located at an altitude of 801 m and has a length of 2050 meters. The rise time is about 20 minutes, the speed up to 3 m/s.
The cable car consists of a cable, stations and 2-seater passenger seats with fastening. Most people use the cableway to climb the mountain Tserkovka and the advantage of this particular cable car is that it is not necessary to remove off skis and snowboard.

Mount Tserkovka

Many locals believe that the must-see of Belokurikha is definitely the mount Tserkovka. In winter its slopes suit for alpine skiing. During the summer Tserkovka becomes a place of tourist pilgrimage - this is a very beautiful resort.

The top of the mountain offers a picturesque view of the Biysk valley and resort Belokurikha. Panorama is just wonderful.

On the top there is a wooden cross. A story tells that in ancient times there was a chapel, which, unfortunately, was burned. The chapel gave name to the mountain. According to another version, the rock on top of the mountain has the shape of a church dome.
Mount Tserkovka is famous for its unique rock park, where every rock here has its own history and legend. You can walk through the forest and greet rocks: 2 sons and 4 daughters of mythical Mountain Host. Local women used to ask Mountain Spirit about a son and other minor requests. It is believed that if you come to the mountain top with a pure heart and think of a secret desire, it will certainly come true.

Along the trails there are benches for rest.
How to get: The ski resort and cableway are in the south of Belokurikha, landmark is the resort Katun. Climbing Tserkovka mount is possible on foot or by cableway.

Rock Four Brothers

Four Brothers Rock is 3.5 km to the south of Belokurikha resort, on the watershed between the Belokurikha river and Medvezhiy streem. The most popular geological monument of nature in the area. The rock has been known since the middle of the 19th century, when the resort Belokurikha was established. Rock reaches a height of 10 meters, territory of 75 m2.
Rock Four Brothers has a very interesting shape: here you can see the outlines of four large men standing next to each other. According to a local legend 4 rocks are 4 brothers who saved his sister from the monsters and in retaliation turned into stone statues.
According to another legend five brothers came to the land Belokurikha. They were amazed by the beauty of nature and its inexhaustible wealth. But one thing worried brothers - a huge lake with magic water was guarded by snakes. The older brothers decided to fill up the lake to become full owners of land resources, but the younger brother wanted to share it with people. And then avaricious brothers decided to kill the dissenting younger one, but as soon they took spears as the Heavens punished them and turned their hearts into stone. So four rock brothers tend to stand shoulder to shoulder. A younger brother discovered the wonderful lake forces, and since then it has been granting the health to any person. According to many travelers, Four Brothers rock in Belokuriha is similar to the famous Krasnoyarsk Stolby natural park.
How to get there: Keeping the way to the resort Altai Castle, leaving vehicles, then walking along a small narrow path. Along the right bank of the Tatar stream before reaching the sign "Kruglaya Mountain", turn to a wide road to the left, which will lead you to the rock. If you decide to continue your journey on, you will reach one more sight - a rock Gates of love. Continue on your way you will meet central baths. You can also visit the Silver spring near Kruglaya Mount, climb Kruglaya Mount, look at the Lone Pine and Stone Falls.

Mount Kruglaya

Kruglaya Mount is located 5.5 km from the resort Rossia. It has a height of 803 meters. Crowned with round stones 15 m height, due to which the rock got its name, Kruglaya means Round.
It offers a beautiful view.
This place has a special, fabulous energy. Rocks are open to the sun's rays and absorb its energy, generously sharing it with tourists. To make rock climbing more comfortable for tourists, the rock is equipped with wooden stairs, but climbing to the top is still not easy. The rocks have a layered structure, the layers overlap each other, the wind gave them a bizarre shape, so the path is sometimes hidden under an overhanging rock, forcing tourists to bend down to go higher. Sometimes the mountain is also called Pancakes mount, as layered structure of the rock reminds a stack of pancakes.

How to get there: Keeping the way to the resort Altai Castle, leaving vehicles, then walking along a small narrow path. Following the signs to the rock Four Brothers, it is turning to the left, straight road goes to Kruglaya mount. Top of the mountain can be reached only on foot.
Resort Belokurikha also offers tours to Mount Kruglaya by ATV, snowmobile or horse.

Belokurikha river

The Belokurikha river is a real decoration of the resort. The source of it is located on the northern slopes of Mount Sinyuha and it carries its waters over the first 31 kilometers of the gorge between the mountains Kruglaya and Sukhaya Griva. Then, taking one of the tributaries - stream Shishi - turns and runs along the mount Tserkovka. Then, crossing the entire resort area, flows through the plain to the confluence with the Peschanaya River.
All tributaries tend to not freeze in winter. Steam over the Belokurikha gives a special charm to this beautiful river. Scientists established that these little streams are not only warm, but radon ones, that means they are healing.
Today, on the banks of the Belokurikha there are many resorts. Healing is possible not only by thermal waters, but by increased ionized mountain air.
In the Belokurikha fishing for perch, loach, roach is possible. On the river you can move by row boats, spearfishing is also possible.

Mineral springs

Natural attractions of these places are healing mineral springs.
Mineral water comes out of the great depths (100-400 m) at a pressure of 1.5-2 atm, with natural temperature of 34-42°C, radioactivity - 18-20 ME and complex mineral composition. Springs content a lot of silicic acid and fluorine. Additionally, calcium, magnesium, chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, small amounts of trace elements: lithium, strontium, manganese, titanium, lead and others.
Local people Gudkov and Kazantsev learned about the medicinal properties of springs in 1866. First patients started to come to Belokurikha resort since 1867, later the resort was established.
A visit to the thermal springs of Belokurikha recommended to patients suffering from allergy, various kinds of inflammation. Water also reduces blood cholesterol levels and is even able to have a rejuvenating effect.
Eye Spring is located inside the Church of the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon. Above the spring a wooden structure resembling a chapel is built – water well. Old-timers say, the water from this spring treats eye diseases: it is enough to wash your eyes.
Snake water well is a symbol of the resort. It looks like a small chapel. It is built on the spot where once the first bath of the resort stood, more than half a century ago. The name is due to the fact that in those days, close to warm ice-free springs there was home to many snakes, local people tried to fill them up. Swimming in local waters is useful for people suffering from allergies, and in general - to improve health.

The Church of St. Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon

The temple was built on the money of parishioners and consecrated August 8, 1992 by Bishop of Novosibirsk and Barnaul Tikhon.
It’s a brick building with five domes, bell tower and forechurch has a rather modest interior, but the parishioners worshiped the temple not for the rich decor, but for a special atmosphere and the opportunity to pray to the miraculous icons.
The Church is famous for its holy silver spring. Thanks to this the water has a special taste, and most importantly - it can be stored for a long time in the bottle.
What is more, there is Eye spring. Above the spring a wooden structure resembling a chapel is built – water well. Old-timers say, the water from this spring treats eye diseases: it is enough to wash your eyes. The water can be bottled.

St. Nicholas Temple

St. Nicholas temple is located in the center of Belokurikha, on a raised platform in front of the resort Rossia. The temple was consecrated in 2003.
Nicholas is a Christian saint, patron of children, sailors, merchants.
This church is harmoniously blended in the territory of Belokurikha. The idea of the temple is adopted from Novosibirsk Chapel of St. Nicholas. However, it is not an exact copy of it, there are a few changes. Today is a beautiful architectural structure, painted by painters from Barnaul, a mosaic icon on the facade of the church was made in Novosibirsk.
There is a special icon in the temple. It was consecrated on the holy relics of St. Nicholas during a religious procession in Barnaul. May 22 is considered to be St. Nicholas Day. On this day all churches of Belokurikha fulfill the  liturgy.
