15 years ago, in September 2004 the museum of Khurtuyakh Tas was opened!
The saint stone Khurtuyakh Tas (in translation, Mother of Mothers) is located in Khakassia (Siberia, Russia), near the village Askiz. Nowadays the stele Hyrtuyah tas is a place of pilgrimage and is considered to be one of the most respected stone sculptures. Native women bring there gifts if they wish to have a baby. People say that asking the statue for help is always more helpful than clinical treatment.
The monument is considered to be world cultural inheritance and is estimated by UNESCO to cost 1.5 million dollars.
