Since the beginning of year Primorsky Krai was visited by 54,843 foreign tourists. The volume of inbound international tourist traffic has increased 1.3 times compared to the same period in 2009. The greatest interest - from China and the Republic of Korea (growth - by 1,5 times), as well as Japan, UK, USA, Hong Kong, Canada and Australia. The leader of outbound tourism is China.  More than 305,000 Russians had left in China by the visa-free channel, almost 102,000 more than the same period in 2009. Also, many trips were committed to South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines and North Korea. Today 274 tourist organizations operate in Primorsky region. 97 organizations of the region are included in the uniform federal register of tour operators.
