A list of 7 most outstanding places of interest of Buryatia was made public by regional Ministry of natural resources. Places were elected with help votings of tourist organizations of the Republic.

Slyudyanskie (mica) lakes in Severo-baikalskiy district got the "bronze". Mount chain Under Baaba became the second. It's famous of its mineral springs possessing strong healing power.

And the frist place was given to mount Barkhan-Uula on the east of Buryatia. It is beliaved that a human being gets in touch with celestial forces and merges with heaven there.

The others participants of this rating are: thermal springs, Shumilikha waterfall, Alla rier valley and Sorgystan rock in western part of the Republic.
