Ionafan, bishop of Abakan and Kyzyl held a ceremony of a chapel's laying in memory of those who died on the 17th of August in Sayano-Shushenskaya hydro-electric power station accident. A chapel will be dedicated to icon of Madonna "A life-giving spring". Deputy prime-minister of Russia Igor Sechin, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergei Shmatko and Chairman of the Government of Khakassia Victor Zimin took part in laying of the foundation stone.
