There will be a festival of world music "Altai" held from 17 to 19 July in Altai republic. Its organizers are the ensemble of throat singing "Altai Kai" and the authorities of Gorno-Altaisk. The festival is also supported by the Ministery of culture of Altai republic. The purpose of the event is to support and develop the image of Mountain Altai, to strengthen and widen the links between society and business, to preserve flora, fauna and cultural inheritance, to find and support new bands.
There will also be festivals of altai national games and kinds of sport, of the national cuisine, master classes, performances with headliners organized during the holiday.
