A monument for the first pilot of Tuva Choodu Kidispay will be installed in Kyzyl. The initiative of building a monument belongs to local division of "United Russia" political party. The authorities of Tuvan capital also decided to support this idea.

Local architects and artist have organized a contest for the best sketch of the obelisk. The place and the image of the future monument are now being discussed.

The foundation of the project are planned to be drawn from charity funds and private donations.

"Choodu Kidispay is called "The first eagle of Tuva (ezir)". I have assosiation with this bird concerning future obelisk. I think it must be an eagle-plane taking off the runway - the genuine symbol of strength and bravery of real Tuvan hero" - Alexander Brandmaa, the manager of the project says.
