A new nature park ‘Ack-Cholushpa’ will be created in Altay Republic. The reservation is going to be located in Ulagansky District, the press agency of the Altaic-Sayan department of WWF Russia reports. The protected area is supposed to appear in the lowlands of Chuleshman river.

‘The new park creation will help to put in order local wild tourism. Now it’s a commonplace there to view numerous car parks just by the lakes and rivers, spontaneous fireplaces, cut trees, littered banks. The park will preserve local landscapes from inevitable destruction’, - said the chief manager of the Altaic-Sayan department of WWF Alexander Bondarev.

Apart from that the new reservation ‘Ack-Cholushpa’ with the area of 250-300 ha will take under protection local animal and plant kingdoms that room 46 plant and 55 animal species included into the Red List of Altay Republic. Thanks to the park tourism local people will get an opportunity of extra earning that will not interrupt to their traditional activities – hunting, gathering, animal breeding which is the promise of WWF.
