2 000 km along the ice surface of Baikal, 35 days of race, frost about 35˚ C and 30 nights in tents on ice – all these 5 fellows from expedition “Around Baikal by bikes” experienced during an expedition. Behind their backs is Antarctica, conquered snow peaks around the world, cycling championships. Today they have performed unbelievable! They first in the world went around Baikal by bikes.

Expedition is not only race along the ice surface of Baikal under the dazzling sun, contrary wind and ice hummock, but also severe frost and days full of adventures.

According to the words of the head of expedition Christopher Pike, those impressions are enough to write a book about an extreme Siberia. The entire journey was shot by the camera. Several dozens of video hours will be a material for a film about the lake, which will be shown at a cinema festival «Banff Mountain Film Festival World tour». The film will be also shown in Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude.
