In Tuva was given a start to official project “Nine treasures”. It’s a kind of video, photo and writing articles contest, in which all the residents of Tuva and those who just love the republic, but lives outside Russia, take part.

Projects connected with sights or “treasures” of Tuva are accepted. As a topic of the project can be chosen as well-known sights such as Tuva – a centre of Asia, Por-Bazhyn, Ustuu-Khuree, a stone Chingiskhan in the steppe of Barun-Khemchikskaiy, as not so popular places, but  interesting for exploring yet.

“The sights from the “Nine treasures” of Tuva, probably about 100, will be used to make a map of tourist attractions in Tuva”, explained the prime minister of the republic, “new itineraries will be worked out and video, photos and articles will be included into a book and a film about “Nine treasures of Tuva”, which will be published by the end of the year.

As organizing committee stated, applications for taking part in the contest will be accepted up to March, 1^st at tosertine@yandex.ru.

In a pack of documents the information about location, short historical background, grounds for attractiveness of the place and some interesting legends should be included.

The winners will be detected by voting in the Internet.

We would remind you that Year 2010 is declared a Year of Tourism in Tuva.
