Cyprus supports the idea of cancellation of visa regime between Russia and European Union. The Republic of Cyprus takes all possible measures to simplify the procedure of Russians coming to the Republic. Cyprus ambassador said that such measures include establishing of consulate departments in Saint-Petersburg and Moscow where visa is issued for free in 1 day after applying. He also has mentioned that since 2009 there is an electronic system of visa issuing. Tourists who have EU can also arrive to Cyprus without national Cypriot visa in case if their Schengen visa has been activated in one of the countries of Schengen zone.

During the press-conference ambassador also has mentioned a special importance of Cyprus-Russia cooperation in tourism industry. He has underlined that Russian tourism market is the second by its significance for Cyprus.

Ambassador has also told about the opening of three new consulate-general in Krasnodar, Samara and Ekaterinburg. Administration of Russian Federation has already approved the opening.

Laos National Agency For Tourism also is going to establish an embassy in Russia, which will provide the realization of bilateral program of cooperation, which is particularly aimed at increasing the number of tourists coming from Laos to Russia.

Laos positions itself as a diversified direction, which offers to their tourists a sightseeing tourism (visiting cultural monuments, exotic events and national ceremonies) as well as beach-related rest (at the lakes of Laos or at the sandy beaches of Mekong River in southern Pax province).
