Starting from February, Moscow citizens will be again able to join free excursions to historical places of the capital within the framework of ‘City sightseeing’ project. This project was organised by cultural heritage department last year and its aim was to give information about capital buildings, architects and styles, unknown before, to the general public. More than 20 thousand people joined these excursions over a period of 3 months. In 2012 the excursions tour is expanded and now consists of more than 30 places. It is planned to visit certain buildings, mansions, churches and monasteries.
To join an excursion you need to view the timetable of the excursions on the project’s official page, fill in an on-line application form or register over a phone and then, having received the confirmation of the form, come to the place where excursions start in due time.
