The expedition started on May 13 in Ulan-Bator. The head of the Russian government Vladimir Putin wished good luck to the traveler. Now the expedition has already passed Ulangom where the traveler had health problems and as a result was taken to the hospital in Kyzyl.

Fortunately Fyodor Konyukhov's condition improves every day and he will soon join the expedition which is moving to the border of Mongolia. "The caravan of history" walks approximately 25-30 kilometers a day. In October it will come to Elista, where the 400^th anniversary of Kalmykiya's and Russia's uniting will be celebrated.

One of the expedition's results will be a book with much information about Tuva republic.

After Mongolia the travelers will move to Altai republic riding the tuvinian horses. There is a signed agreement about buying 10 horses. Besides, there are also 2 guarding dogs. As for Mongolian animals, they will stay at home as it is rather difficult to pass all veterinary and sanitary procedures. After taking part in the Days of Kalmykiya the expedition will start their way again. It is possible that Fyodor Konyukhov will join the group on the territory of Mongolia.
