To Dixon Island a wooden framework of a log house will be brought from Krasnoyarsk. The church made of it will be the most northern one in the world.

The wooden framework is ready for transportation from Krasnoyarsk to Dixon. It will be sent to the island just after the floating of ice. In September it is planned to install it on the special ground sanctified by archbishop Antony in 2009. The decision about raising the St. Nicola church was made by the dwellers of the arctic settlement on their own money.

Today about one million rubles is gathered by Taimyr people, that should be enough for transportation and installment of the log frame house.

It’s necessary to say, that now Svyato-Bogoyavlenskaya orthodox church in Khatanga settlement is the most northern church in the world.
