The finale of the contest “Miss Asia” took place in Novosibirsk. Six beautiful ladies from Tuva and Khakassia, Buruyt Republic and Altai, Yakutia and Mongolia contended the first prize. The participants not only demonstrated their appearance, but also their knowledge in culture traditions of the countries and of course the ability to wear folk costumes.

As a result, the crown was won by Zayana Apkhanova. She is a student in Novosibirsk State Architecture and Building University.  The owner of the crown is sure that she has won the prize exceptionally due to her charming smile.

According to her words it was not easy to overcome the nervousness. “You should always think that everything you do is awful and then you’ll be successful”, shared her secret Zayana.

The contest “Miss Asia 2010” is carried out for the ninth time and girls from Tuva have already been the winners three times.
