The Slovaks like Russian film “Morozko” more than maybe Russians do. Every year in the Christmas Eve at least one Slovak channel show this winter fairy tale in Slovak language for children and their parents.

Now children can see their favorite character also on ice. A musical on ice will be performed by famous  Chech, Slovak and Russian figure skaters and singers like Katarina Berankova, Otto Diabola, Karel Gott and Iveta Bartošová. Marfusha with fancy colored cheeks, shaggy Baba-Yaga and a gang of bandits look so similar, that it seems they have just got off the television screen.
