The national parks of Irkutsk oblast got a right to take payment from tourists for visiting the territories. The cash points are already open in Pribaikalsky national park.

The national parks are within the jurisdiction of the Russian ministry of natural resources and ecology. In March they were granted a right to carry out financial and economic activity. By doing this, the parks got an additional possibility to get off-budget income.

The payment for an entrance ticket is defined by the park. Pribaikalsky national park's ticket will cost 25 rubles for a day. All the money will be spent on cleaning the territories, developing tourist paths and picnic zones.

Tunkinsky national park of Burytiya republic also requires payment now.
