All Christians celebrated Palm Sunday on the 17^th April and Krasnoyarsk citizens are not exception.

Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that always falls on the Sunday before Easter Sunday. The feast commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

In many Christian churches, Palm Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves (often tied into crosses) to the assembled worshipers. It’s a pity but there are no palms in Siberia because of the climate but we found a perfect alternative. When all Christians all around the world distribute palm leaves in Siberia we use branches of pussy willow. This is the first tree that “wakes up” after a long Siberian winter.
