The Russian Federal Tourist Agency announced the contest for creating a website of the country’s places of interest.

‘The aim of the multimedia informational recourse of Russian tuoristic facilities is to form the image of Russia as a country well-fitted for tourism and recreation and to promote inbound and outbound tourism’ – the contest’s instruction says.

It is supposed that the new portal will be demonstrating virtual tuorist routs, 3D views, video clips, photos. The winner is obliged not only to make up the site shell but to fill it with content, such as authorial stories about all the regions of the country, videos about its remarkable sights, photo galleries.

The winner will be paid back with a grant of 5 million rubbles.
