More than 40 thousands of people took part in the opinion poll ‘The most interesting places of Siberia’ carried out by ‘Sibnet.ru’. The rating was headed by Baikal Lake, the Valley of Volcanoes in Buryatia and Tuva and Sheregesh in Kemerovsky Region.

People from all 12 regions of Siberia participated in the polling, on the average 3,3 thousands of people per region voted, - NA ‘News of Gorny Altai’ reports. 

The whole list is the following:

1 place – Baikal

2 place - The Valley of Volcanoes (Buryatia and Tuva)

3 place – Sheregesh (Kemerovsky Region) 

4 place – Novosibirsky Zoo

5 place – Vassugansky Bog (Tomsky, Omsky, Novosibirsky Regions)  

6 place –  Shira Lake (Khakassia)

7 place – Tomsky Petroglyphs (Kemerovsky Region)

8 place – Kyzyl (Tuva)

9 place – Belokuriha (Altai Region)

10 place – Reserve ‘Azas’ (Tuva)
